Financial Advisor (Socially Responsible Investing)
Your wealth management expertise, integrity, and passion for social responsibility don’t have to be at odds.
Your aim to serve your clients’ best interest can be the fuel for your own financial success.
You can have the flexibility of an entrepreneur AND the support of a team.
At Common Interests you can combine all these things – doing good AND doing well, clients benefit AND you benefit, you gain autonomy AND support. We’ll provide you with the environment, experience and investment tools & technology to grow your successful practice in a purpose-driven community.
Common Interests
Common Interests is a boutique family wealth management practice specializing in Socially Responsible Investing (SRI), and operating with a healthy attitude of humility and service. We look to ‘do well by doing good’ by enhancing the financial wellness of our clients in a socially responsible manner.
Common Interests works with multigenerational families to help them come together, share their passions and concerns, and seek our counsel in creating investment solutions [M1] designed to lead to the financial wellbeing that they are looking for, while also making the kind of difference they care about.
We believe in the “categorical imperative” which says that all people should act in such a way that if everyone behaved that way, the world would be a better place. For us this means two key things:
- We put the interests of our clients first
- We specialize in Socially Responsible Investing
Common Interests also became a Certified B Corporation in 2014 to “put our money where our mouth is” by having the independent organization B Lab audit our business practices. As a B Corp we’ve evaluated how our practices impact our employees, our community, the environment, and our customers and have been certified to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

You’ll love working at Common Interests if you love bringing your whole self to work. Whether you’re into music, lego, talking about current events, or the latest Game of Thrones episode, we want to get to know the real you. We laugh and joke together and talk about the values we cherish.
