Level 1 IT Support Technician
OT Group is seeking a Level 1 IT Support Technician to join and contribute to our Technical Team. As part of this role, you’ll be supporting our customers directly, assisting them with troubleshooting hardware and software, while learning and seeing new IT challenges each day.
This role is an in-office role at our Belleville, Ontario location, and daily commuting to the office is required.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Be the friendly face that our customers reach out to when they're having tech troubles, whether it's over the phone, through email, or even face-to-face.

Jump into action when service requests or issues come in, making sure we sort things out and keep our customers smiling.

Use your tech-savvy mindset to diagnose and fix problems using the right tools and know-how, following our trusty procedures every step of the way.

Keeping accurate records of all ticket events in our helpdesk system, so we've got all the details recorded.

Help set up and get tech gear running smoothly for our users, from computers to software and everything in between.

Collaborate with our top-tier Customer Success Team to tackle the trickiest issues and make sure our customers get the best service.

Keep our IT setup in great shape with regular maintenance tasks, like updates and backups, to keep things running smoothly.

Stay on the ball with the latest tech trends and tricks, so you're always at the top of your game.
Who We’re Looking For:

Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows is a must, along with a solid grasp of basic networking concepts.

Familiarity with macOS and Linux is considered a plus.

A team-player who fosters seamless collaboration with your colleagues and knows when to seek assistance from our more senior technicians.

An education in IT, ideally with a College Diploma or University Degree.

A strong communicator, both verbally and written.

Someone who sees problem-solving as an opportunity, willing to learn and grow!
