About You

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of Global Impact’s IT systems, networks, and applications. This role involves managing the deployment, maintenance, and improvement of technology systems that support business objectives, ensuring compliance with security standards.

We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates:

Ability to manage in-house and cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust security, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place.

Ability to manage IT helpdesk function to ensure timely and efficient support for all employees.

Solid performance in deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of all IT systems, including SIEM, Servers, Network, Storage, and Applications.

Ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of IT systems and infrastructure, minimizing downtime, and maximizing performance.

Collaborating in the planning, design, and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Partnering with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, focusing on maintaining high customer satisfaction and timely ticket resolution.

Developing departmental efficiencies and ensure seamless operation of systems and technologies.

Implementation of and enforcing IT & Security policies, procedures, and standards to protect sensitive company data.

Ensuring that hardware and software are up-to-date, efficient, and properly configured.

Ensuring that all technology documents are kept up to date.

Qualifying for this role means you have a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Systems/Network Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education (multiple certifications in lieu of degree). Experience as IT Manager/IT Operations Manager and advanced knowledge and experience with cloud computing platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS). 5-7 years in the IT field with 2 years providing systems/network design & administration, focusing on Windows server architecture, network device configuration, and cloud services. Microsoft and Cisco, or other industry certifications (CCNA, Security+, Azure Administrator, etc.)

Working at Global Impact 

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for more than one year. Visa sponsorship is not available. This is a full-time position and requires a hybrid work model, with 1-2 days per week in our Washington, DC headquarters office.

The salary range is $95,000-110,000 depending on the experience you have.    

On top of the competitive salary that we are offering, you will receive 16 paid holidays and 25 paid days off. We provide an excellent benefits plan including parental leave, medical, dental, short-term, and long-term disability, and a 401K program.
