Senior Network Administrator
We are looking for an on-site seasoned System / Network Administrator to ensure that our computer systems and networks remain secure and reliable.

Key Responsibilities - install, monitor and maintain
- Network Infrastructure (routers, switches, access points) with focus on security
- Microsoft AD, Exchange
- LANs, WAN and VPNs
- Virtualization, storage and backup systems
- Network and Phone Infrastructure
- Use best practices to protect corporate data from intrusion, loss and corruption
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in computer science or systems and network administration
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent are a plus.
- 5+ years proven experience designing and managing network hardware infrastructure
- 5+ years administration of virtualized environments, including MS Hyper-V and/or VMware V-Sphere
- 5+ years’ experience working with computer security (e.g. firewalls and intrusion detection systems).
- Advanced knowledge and experience with FC based SANs
- Expert knowledge and experience with Active Directory and group policy administration
- Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Advanced knowledge of Network Monitoring and Management Tools.
- Experience with helpdesk or IT end user support an asset.
- Ability to troubleshoot network and computer issues over the phone and via remote tools
- Professional but enthusiastic, energetic and positive attitude
- Ability to take ownership of projects, make the required decisions and lead them to successful completion without daily guidance from management.
- Reliable and able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record and willingness to travel within Niagara Peninsula
- Able to pass a police background check
This is an in-office position located at the head office in Jordan Station, Ontario.
Salary is based on certifications and/or experience.
