Field Service Lab Equipment Service Advisor
THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION. IDEAL FOR A SEMI-RETIRED PROFESSIONAL LOOKING FOR OCCATIONAL EMPLOYMENT (APPROX. 15-20 HRS P/W)
We are looking for an experienced field service technician, based in Manitoba or Saskatchewan.

Field Service/Instrument Technical Advisor
Your goal: 100% customer satisfaction through regular maintenance and on demand service calls.
You’ll inspect and test operation of biomedical and lab equipment and systems to diagnose faults using electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments. You will repair and adjust instrument components, such as sensors, transmitters and controllers. You’ll troubleshoot, remove and replace defective parts and run tests to ensure the systems are working properly. You'll provide technical support and solutions for our customers. You will also provide service, test and calibration reports to our customers and maintain accurate records in our online system.

This is a full-time role.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Specific experience in field based instrument service, maintenance, and repair.
- Able to do physical work that involves lifting and carrying heavy equipment; standing, kneeling, and bending regularly.
- Willing to travel within the Prairies
- A valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in electronics or a combination of education and experience.
- NSF certification.
- Knowledge and experience using Salesforce.
- GMP certification
- Experience with analytical equipment
