Account Manager
We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, gain understanding of their business and technology needs, develop new business from existing client and actively seek new sales opportunities. The Account Manager will be a Customer Advocate focused on ensuring that our service delivery exceeds customer expectations.As well play an active role in new client onboardings.
ACCOUNT MANAGER OVERVIEW
Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders to provide an unmatched customer experience. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities. In this role, you will work with cross-functional internal teams such as theSupport ServicesTeam, Project Services Team, and Marketing Team to improve the entire customer experience. This position may require occasional travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

Analysis of customer reporting weekly in both reactive & proactive reports.

Prepare monthly IT reports and send to clients.

Identify areas of improvement.

Touch base with clients about IT report data if needed.

Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders.

Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.

Develop new business with existing clients.

Research solutions and prepare quotes as needed.

Purchase items relating to approved quotes.

Provide support to account CIO.
-
Facilitate the scheduling and changes of CIO meetings.

Maintain proper documentation in client CRM relating to client interaction.

Ensure client contracts and client details are accurate.

Ensure client invoice details are accurate and clear in collaboration with billing team.

Review and negotiate client contracts with client CIO as needed.

Stay top of mind: touch base calls, quarterly visits, CX mailings and social media engagement.

Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.

Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
REQUIREMENT & SKILLS

Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.

Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.

Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).

Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.

Proven ability to juggle multiple account management tasks/projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.

Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.

MSP/IT account management experience preferred.
-
Experience in Autotask/Datto PSA, ConnectWise Sell/Quosal experience preferred.
-
Any relevant technical IT experience is a plus.
