What You Will Do With Us
As the HRM Operations Manager, reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and warehouse product flow of the Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location. Your role will include:
- Monitoring operating expense levels and ensuring corrective actions are taken to control/reduce costs in line with budgetary requirements.
- Identifying areas for improvement in cooperation with the Branch Manager
- Adhering to company policies and ensuring operational and administrative procedures are implemented and followed.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory.
- Supporting the Dartmouth warehouse team.
- Ensuring Health & Safety policies are always followed and demonstrating leadership in compliance.
- Participating in annual audits, procedures (ISO standards), and safety initiatives.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer service experience within the branch.
- Acting as a Brand Ambassador by building brand recognition, supporting sales initiatives, and enhancing customer experiences.
Who Are You
- You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in an operations or warehouse role.
- You possess a good understanding of warehouse management systems (an asset).
- You have product knowledge of the electrical business (an asset).
- You have demonstrated leadership abilities.
- You have a positive attitude and a results-driven mindset.
- You have a valid driver’s license.
- You are flexible to travel to assist with operational projects throughout the region.
