We’re searching for a Maintenance Technician to keep our HQ running smoothly. If you’re the kind of person who loves rolling up your sleeves, solving problems, and making things work better, we can't wait to meet you!
YOUR MISSION
You’ll be the backbone of our production team’s success. Your mission is simple but critical: to ensure that every piece of equipment in our HQ is running at its best, so our team can do what they do best—crafting delicious, high-quality gelato. You’ll be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues in real time, and keeping downtime to a minimum.
You’ll collaborate closely with our production, sanitation, and quality teams, ensuring all equipment is safe, efficient, and performing to specification. Your attention to detail and commitment to getting things done right will keep everything running smoothly!
WHO ARE YOU?
- You have 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, focused on equipment efficiency and minimizing downtime.
- You understand GMP, HACCP, and other food-safe quality standards.
- You’re skilled in time management, able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines while prioritizing effectively.
- You have a solid understanding of the mechanical aspects of equipment and how they impact product quality and QA risks.
- You can manage projects and people, including contractors and offsite fabrications.
- You’re quick to respond to urgent situations and keep things moving smoothly.
- You have a strong understanding of Righteous processes and can make recommendations for improvements.
- You’re comfortable using MS Office/Google Suite, with strong skills in Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, and PowerPoint/Slides.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure all equipment is performing at its expected level allowing users to carry out their roles efficiently.
- Perform and/or schedule routine maintenance and upkeep of all equipment to maintain performance and outputs while limiting unplanned downtime.
- Maintain a working list of all building, equipment and vehicles assets of the company.
- Log all equipment changes, maintenance, parts replacements, warranties, etc.
- Manage spare parts inventory that includes all parts that can force a shutdown or delays in production if not on hand.
- Train required team members on proper use (including safety) and daily maintenance of all equipment.
- Troubleshoot any equipment problems in real time and bring in approved contractors when necessary to keep equipment down time to a minimum.
- Measure equipment, team, and output efficiency and make adjustments to processes and equipment in order to maximize efficiencies.
- Perform building maintenance throughout the facility as needed and indicated by work orders.
- Document all work and update new procedures as they pertain to equipment maintenance.
- Work within maintenance and repairs budgets and manage them to agreed upon amounts.
- Work with the Sanitation and Quality Assurance team to ensure equipment is maintained, cleaned and sanitized properly.
- Work within Righteous Gelato Food Safety Systems and maintain GMP.
- Support production as required.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
